What Does LVL Stand For
LVL stands for Length, Volume, and Lift, which are the three main components of this lash treatment. The length refers to the technique used to elongate your natural lashes, volume is the process of creating a thicker, fuller look, and the lift refers to the curling of your natural lashes, giving them a more dramatic and lifted appearance.
How does the LVL lash lift work?
An LVL lash lift works by straightening and lifting your natural lashes from the root, which creates a more dramatic curl and lift. The treatment begins with a thorough consultation to determine the best length and shape for your lashes. Then your technician applies a special serum that straightens your lashes.
Once the serum is applied, your technician will gently lift your natural lashes onto a silicone shield placed over your eyelid. This shield helps to create a uniform curl and lift throughout your lashes, ensuring that each lash is lifted and curled to the same degree. The serum is left to work its magic for around 10-15 minutes.
After the technician has removed the serum, your lashes are tinted to enhance their natural colour and give them a fuller appearance. The entire LVL Lash Lift treatment takes around 45 minutes to complete, and the results can last for up to six to eight weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle.

CAN YOU GET AN LVL TREATMENT WET?
For the first 48 hours after your treatment, avoid getting your eye area wet. This is because your eyelashes can take up to 48 hours to lock into place and if they get hot or wet, the lift will drop. After this time period, there are no restrictions with an LVL lash lift, so you can continue to shower, swim, and use saunas without protecting your eye area.
